Wine and Food
Pick up from your hotel around 10:00 am and drive to a local bazaar to buy the needed ingredients of your cooking class. At the bazaar, which is held by the local villagers once a week, you can find variety of organic vegetables, fruits and herbs. At the local bazaar we will also have chance to taste Turkish Pancake (Gozleme) or local snacks. Then, we will drive to local winery to find the best suitable wine for our dinner. Once we get there we will visit the historical boutique underground vine cellars and learn about the the history of wine making which was started by Hittites 4,000 years ago. After visiting the wine cellars and choosing the best wine for our dish, it is time to cook... We will teach you the tricks and techniques of Turkish Cuisine and cook all fresh vegetables. We will start with a local soup recipe, cold and warm starters then move on to main course and finally finish the course with delicious Turkish Dessert recipe. Then we will serve you all these wonderful dishes we have cooked together. At the end of the cooking class, we will give you a ride back to your hotel.
